Youth Invention Exhibition and Competition - Philippines Chapter

When the organization first issued the invitation to IFIP's members, we received overwhelming responses from around the world. Among them, we chose the Philippines as a way to pay tribute to the many contributions that the Filipino-American community has made to Valdosta, to the South Georgia and North Florida, where they have exhibited excellent leadership among the Asian communitys activities, such as Tallahassees Asian Coalition.
Through this exchange, we hope that the young Filipino-Americans will develop close bonds with these outstanding brothers and sisters from their parents hometowns, leading them to develop great confidence and pride in their ancestors and heritage. Furthermore, we hope these visiting Filipino inventors who come to see the wonderful achievements of Filipino-Americans will be inspired to discover the values and strengths of the United States. We hope these students will return with new vision, new insight and renewed strength to prepare their homeland to excel in the 21 century.
