I can imagine these things autonomously prancing around a battlefield 'Nose' to the ground with powerful ground penetrating LIDAR for eyes looking for land mines! when one is located it might bark & stand on point like a retriever or place a flag for the ordinance demo crews who are more safely bringing up the rear letting robots take the brunt of the dangerous front action. What about mounted satchel charges and these quadrobotopeds galloping towards the enemy lines or remote mountain caves?
