God, Woolworths was an awesome shop. I'm sitting here right now with a pencil branded Woolworths and sort of glancing at it longingly.

A supermarket?
Geez, when I was growing up in the South USA, WW was a "dime" store where you could buy just about everything for a dime. (we're talking many years ago).
It sold inexpensive (cheap) clothes, brika-brak, candy, had a sandwich counter , etc. When I was probably 8 years old, my older brother and I stole some combs, glass marbles and other junk. When my Mom found it she took us back to the store and made us apologize to the manager.
Lots of memories of Woolworths growing up.

Jackie would have only done this to fill time as he doesnt like to sit around and do nothing - while he was in UK he probably had a free morning. Also all the money he gets from adverts he gives to charity. Give him a break!
