Short rows without the wrap and turn, when working across a knit row and stopping short to purl back. Gives same result as Japanese short rows, but without the pins.
I am knitting the Wingspan pattern in Ravelry, which is in garter stitch, making triangles that attach to each other moving 16 stitches over at each triangle. When I have to do the short rows I am turning from knit to purl and then after doing Sl1 (purlwise), K1, K1, I knit to the end of the row. The next row I stop where I did the last short row of three stitches and do it again. Since I can't knit over the pointy edge of the triangle from remaining 16 stitches, what do I do to finish them?
I'm so glad you uploaded this video. I always had problems with short rows, regardless of the technique I used. This is by far the easiest and looks the nicest when done. Thank you!
Muito interessante este video!!!
