  • supermrcritical and smoss469, i have this pedal and an epiphone les paul with a $500 amp and it does actually sound this good.

  • "i play through a mesa mark 5 and a made in usa strat with seymore duncans no pedals". Well good for you! I play an agile AL-3000 through a 5W Kustom Defender with a s**t ton of pedals. We all can't afford the crap you have. Until you try this pedal your opinion is invalid.

  • at 1:18 sounding like Satriani.....does this guy kick ass or what?

  • It's a decent pedal, but I wish it had some kind of noise gate. It's really buzzy and going into a compressor it just fucks it up. I need a second distortion with a built-in noise gate built in to cancel the noise... Oh well. I actually like using it as a boost pedal. Little gain, but fiddle with the tone and level.

  • so is it true that guitar center bought the rights to the DL effects name in order to release the line of these pedals?

  • Lmao at 3:10!

  • WOW! What's that Van Halen sounding palm muting riff @ around 1:42?

  • yeah hey, I knew iwas off on the dollar amount just a rant of sorts, but that kind of crap is what makes people go out and buy cheap stuff, and then wonder why dont i sound like that guy on you tube, cause at one point i was one of those people, now i play through a mesa mark 5 and a made in usa strat with seymore duncans no pedals and hey thats what it takes to get great tone, good amp, good guitar, and plug straight in and of course learning how to make the guitar talk!!!!!

  • @SuperMrcritical The PRS Is $2,300 and the Dr Z is about $2k. A lot less than $7,000.00 but you do make a good point. Testing cheap pedals through a rig that's that high end doesn't really give you a fair test. Want a fair test? Go through a MIM Strat, or Epiphone into something that's a sub $1k amp. I always laughed when people demo a "Marshall" style OD through a cranked Marshall amp and say LOOK AT WHAT A GREAT JOB IT DOES! Well yeah.. you're playing through the amp it copies!

  • yeah thats real great put a 4500.00 prs 305 and plug it in to a 3500.00 dr z amp and use a ts 808 and then plug into some crappy delta lab pedal then you can have sound like that come on people thats a 7000.00 dollar rig thats why cheap pedals sound good!!!!!
