I have Windows xp but when I run blackra1n I get the error message "blackra1n.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." What should I do?

@Blakehx srry.it took forever for the reply. there is some things going around that blackrain is being discontinued at this moment but i encourage you to update to 3.1.3 or 4.0 already if u havent cause both versions should be jailbreakable. Thanks for the question.

Hi sorry to take up your time i m getting an error. I'm using windows 7 did the compatibility with windows xp thing but when i start up blackra1n it tells me there is a file missing from my computer ASL.dll can you help me out? If you can plase send me a message thanks Jose'

@JoseACopin well as i replied above from Blakehx, the programs is possibly being discontinued so i please encourage you to update to 3.1.3 or 4.0 for the new bug fixes and new features :)

Umm, i tried this, but it didnt do anything, i didnt get the blackra1n in my ipod, and it doesnt work, it didnt screw it up or anything, it just simply did nothing, it did not jial break it, i have a 1G i pod touch and it didnt work, i followed the instructions , but nothing happened when i pressed make it ra1n it had all the same notifications on my computer, but all it did to my ipod was restart it,, please help

@OunderOcover7 make sure you have the right firmware for the right gen. Each generation has its own unique firmware, so u need to get the right one. BTW, 8GB 3rd gens take 2g firmware for some reason. So good luck!

well make sure ur on 3.1.2 then if your not then ur gonna need the specific program for jailbreaking that firmware thanks

are you sure ur iphone is on 3.1.2 firmware. and maybe u should do a complete restore and then use blackra1n. tell me if these are helpful

just downgrade to the 3.1.2 firware by downloading it online (theres many places) and press and hold the shift key while while pressing the restore button. then select the 3.1.2 firmware and install

well did u sync it to ur itunes. if u did n it isnt syncing it to ur itunes, den its probably sumthin u cant do. to tell you the truth, i dont know. srry. i wish i knew
