Prototype 1:
Introducing the first SV650S on youtube with a GP style pipe and removable baffle.
Loud but with a lower pitch than an open straight pipe or without mufflers.
The baffle puts back the back pressure that you would normally lose on an open straight pipe or without mufflers. But it doesn't take away from the loudness. It also enhances that low pitch rumble. Giving it a cruiser like sound.

Next prototype should look better and sound deeper.

Since I am not a mass producer, I can probably make you one for $200, but you have to wait up to 2 weeks to get it. Sorry, I have an 40 hr a week job. It's a polished stainless steel pipe.

  • where can i get this exhaust!? its b-e-a-utiful

  • @TheQishy Spring is almost here in Indiana. I'll be making some soon and put it on eBay.

  • dude, sounds SICK. could you feel any low end torque loss compared to a full exhaust?

  • @Chuckles9350 It sounds even better under load. I let my friend ride it while I ride on an SV1000. Man it growls throttle up or down! I rode the it with a Yoshi pipe that it came with, then I tried no exhaust, then I tried this custom one I made. Low end torque definitely disappeared on straight pipe. Very noticeable improvement on low end torque with this custom pipe with it's removeable baffles. Either same with the Yoshi on or difference is so little it's hard to say.

  • whats the DB like with the baffle in at idle and at 5,000 rpm? Looking at getting something like this, most likely from your ebay account (this is how I found the video) for my Hyosung GT650R, law here states it must not be above 100DB at 5,000, my last bike was 120 but it was a V4, and a Vtwin is alot deeper haha

  • @MrDrunkenMistake It makes 94dB at idle so I can almost guarantee it will make over 100dB before 5000 rpm. It makes 126dB at 11,000 rpm (redline) which is what the video shows. Assuming the noise is progressive from idle to 11,000 rpm, it should make around 110dB at 5000 rpm. Hope this helps.
