I induced all these clicking sounds merely by utilizing the camera controls. The mics are super-sensitive. I did exaggerate a bit at the very end to show that what many have been experiencing may be due to operator input. This vid was shot on a Patriot Class 6 8gb SDHC card that had been newly formatted. Shot in AVCHD Lite "H" mode.

  • It helps to practice...don't hard click either side of the zoom lever. Do not let it spring back to center. Also, did you get the firmware update. From the samples I've seen, the quiet atmosphere seems to make the mics more sensitive. It won't be as noticeable in noisier environments. It takes a second for the zoom to start moving. Go easy and don't cram it.. The mic is right next to the lever. Maybe they'll move it for ZS4.
