  • Hey, this is really awesome....I too am trying my hand at FreeBSD.

  • @Hax0rPr0n you're an idiot and obviously not a programmer but a kid who jacks off all day! This effect is stupid, yes but you don't know what you're talking about!

  • @maw88ify Same can be said for Linux though, but from a design standpoint, Linux was designed by developers in their spare time, with developers in mind. And Windows for end users in mind. They each CAN do whatever you want them to do, but the strengths and weaknesses of each are apparent. The thing is though, when it comes to IDEs it's preference. So then again, if you want anything simpler or more customizable than Visual Studio or the like Linux is the way to go.

  • @thisismy7thusername All I have to say is Linux / BSD doesn't have any as good as Visual Studio 2010 professional for programming ... It way easier to program in Windows because there are better tools available for it ... If you have the right software in Windows you can do anything ...

  • @maw88ify Not at all, try programming on Windows/Mac, then program on Linux/Unix, one HELL of a difference, I'll tell you what, just to get the Java compiler to work in Windows I had to edit the path, and, the command line... Oh god the horrors that are in the Windows command line... Trust me, any kind of software development is easier on Linux, and the structure of the OS itself is more logical, and there are far more options for Linux to do what you want. Windows is just easier than Linux/BSD.

  • All of these videos are f-ing useless, none of them are educational as in to show you how it's actually done. They just show you the final config but not how to achieve it.

  • @ToastDevourer I can't use an OS with out wobbly windows any more... :(

I boot-up Windows 7 the other day , and I was like why the hell is my windows not going up in flames... it was so lame with out desktop effects... That's the only reason I started using BSD, and Linux... Well wobbly windows and safe PORN surfing other than that Linux , BSD, and OpenSolaris are all pointless... Now Windows 7, and Mac OS on a Hackintosh rocks...

  • hey do you have that wallpaper with the two bsd daemons beside that girl?

  • Beryl is unstable as hell... I'd stick to xfce's composite manager :P
