All I have to say is go this link to actually see the Scuderi engine working for real. And also, this design is specifically designed to improve the performance of diesel engines. Any engineer should understand though that a gasoline engine is created first as a proof of concept then you go onto the other prototypes.

Scuderi Engine only apply to petrol gas engines, but not diesel engines.

i dont know - this engine might be 40 percent efficient compared to 10-20 percent efficient 4 strokes. theres one big problem...... you're moving another piston which adds more weight to turning the crank....
