Nope, they wouldn't. Germany would need only a very short time to mobilize a bigger army and has the industry to arm and supply it. For now, Germany has no need for a bigger army. Why should it? In times like these, a nations power isn't dependent on its military power, especially if a country like germany knows how to bring other nations to do the dirty work.
If Germany needs a bigger army in the future, they could create it in a short time. Until then, it keeps a low profile.

... Are you real. Germany has a shite army. Lets not forget it was dissolved after ww1 and ww2. and it is only just recovering. Why do you think they never take part in current affairs like afghanistan. It has no army to piss about with. Germany would have a tough time taking Poland, lowlands and lets not mention France.

wtf. Iam german and I live a very good life, cause I work hard. Why should I go to war and expand my country? To make some lazy street artist rich (thats what Hitler was before he became a dictator), someone who doesn't want to work, who just seeks power? Murder for him or might get killed?
In my family tree are already to many broken branches, cause these family members got killed by bombs or died on the battlefield, just because some idiots seeked power through war!
