Robert comes across as really embittered and cynical sometimes...certain comments he makes and looks he gives, even towards friendly co-stars. He's obviously an intelligent man who has been through a lot in his life. Often it's difficult to tell in interviews if he's being darkly humourous or not, or if he genuinely likes his co-stars or not. Whatever the case, he's a great actor.
