I attached one of my minicams to the outside of an Estes FarSight rocket. Here it is launched with C6-5 and a C6-7 motors.
I was looking for anomalies in the video: frozen frames, loss of audio, problems with the automated white balance, etc.
The first launch was pretty rough, but the second went up to at least a few hundred feet. In both cases the rocket spins violently - a problem that will be solved by proper fin sizing.
The video recorded looks pretty clean and I've learned a few things about implementing these cameras in my final design.
