Btw, the host, Pue Hue, speaks Teochew Husia accent 潮州府城话，the teacher, Mr. Heng, speaks Teochew Die'ang accent 海阳口音（现潮安县） which is very close to the Teochew accent spoken by Cambodian Teochew nang in Phnom Pehnn.

Tea Chat《茶话》was one of the few genuine Teochew cultural programs that came out of CZBTV. But, CZBTV is controlled by the communist party, CPC, so they yanked these kind of programs off air quickly. Why? When we talk about real Teochew cultures, we usually talked about real history that goes back thousands of year and mostly about Chinese imperial history that doesnt include the communists whose ideologies were a recent foreign imports form Germany, England and USA.

im a 100% 'teochew nam' , when i view this video I feel shame. days up to now i only know a litter bite teochew tradition.

welcome to the club Jason! :) b4 I discovered CZBTV . COM I knew only just the basics of our Teochew traditions,...
You know Teochew history, cultures and archeology are so rich that Teochew Studies can be a PHD discipline in its own right.
check out my other videos, 90% of them are about Chaozhou and they are either in our Teochew dialect or PTH, but the subjects are mostly about our culture and history.
