Robert Duncan's paintings of Americana reflect his love for family, the open countryside and a rural lifestyle.
Helping out on his grandparents' 10,000 acre ranch in Wyoming each summer, Robert Duncan fell in love with the beautiful land - where the Green River flowed and life was spent close to nature. He drew constantly from the age of five; studying art at the University of Utah and, after graduation, working as a commercial artist.
Duncan initially made his name with his paintings of the American West, and for a time was a member of the Cowboy Artists of America. Eventually, this father of six branched out to focus his art on family, friends and the beautiful scenery around his northern Utah home.
Sit back and enjoy the slide show and the music, "An Awakening," by Ken Verheecke. Thank you!
Are these paintings done in oils or acrylics or watercolors, anyone know? I can't seem to find which medium this artist works in. thx

I’m not sure he uses oil to this day but his grandmother gave him his first set of oil paints at age 11. He has a website and you can contact him and find out for sure. I'm sure he would appreciate your interest.
