How to use Audacity Freeware to remove 80% of all unwanted noises from audio tracks.
Quite good at removing 50hz hum, ripple, buzz, 60hz hum, rumble, noise and other unwanted noise.
This is not a perfect solution but the results are quite good.

  • @vrajavala Yes as shown; I think there could be better software to do this but I don't know any Free like Audacity. May take some trial and error to get it right

  • @Films4You P.S. The Audacity doen't know or care what type of Hum it is.

    Oh, okay then.

    So, thanks for instructions.

  • @MiracleKD18 Yes. Now I know what you are talking about. You are correct, as heard in the video above.

Some tweeking of the settings above may help or three or four passes at different levels 'May' help... but I doubt it.

The only way I really fixed it was to buy a sound card use this instead of the one on my motherboard... This is worth while in most cases as the time take to do all this with Audacity costs more than most sound cards, ebay, about £8 to £15

By waterly noise, I mean that error which is caused by the noise removal.

The audio in your video contains waterly noise.

It might remove hum, but it adds waterly noise.

  • @MiracleKD18 Try the filter as in the video above.

It could be a codec issue but eight times out of ten it is a hardware issue e.g. Inbuild on the motherbord sound controllers, microphones, poor quality wires, etc..

Try Windows Sound Recorder see what the quality is like in this.
