Weber Unika

Dit is een Orchestrion Weber Unika Ge bouwd door de firma Weber te Waldkirch rond 1920.Dit instrument heeft oa Piano,Mandoline-effect en een rij orgelpijpen die het geluid van een viool imiteren. deze orgelpijpen kunnen ook solo spelen, wat een bijzonder effect geeft. Dit waren de meest populaire instrumenten van weber. Deze instrumenten stonden vroeger in o.a Cafés,Restaurants en Dans-hallen.

Frank. Can you please tell me what pitch you tune the Unika piano to? A440 or A435 or any lower? What temperature do you tune the piano and pipes in? I find that any more than a 5C change in temperature makes the pipes noticably out of tune.

Arburo. I tune the piano on A435!

and i tune the pipes at temperature 20c, because its always 20c in the house,

Thank you Frank. When I bought my Unika I had it tuned to A435. The pipes appear already tuned to A435 at 20C but sometimes my room is too cold!
