For the week of December 9th, 2007, the panel discusses the problems TNA faces in trying to make it in the modern day wrestling TV landscape. Who should be main eventing? Does TNA rely too much on castoffs & old stars? And who exactly is going to buy a Tomko t-shirt? Hosted by Eric Santamaria.

  • Christian is terrible, not talented enough, nobody cares?

He's great in the ring, great on the mic and was one of the most over guys in TNA.

  • 1. opinion 2. opinion 3. That might just be, based on his merchandise sales.

  • I've been watching TNA 4 years now, but I still hate the 6 sided ring. It looks like the fuckin Battle of the Tough Guys. They should make Brell the commissioner lol

  • haha, I'd stick up for the 6-sided ring because I like it, but I'm too taken about someone mentioned Brell!! That's great :)

  • @Fincher85 two words over rated, christian was a upper midcard guy at best he was a decent wrestler but lacked that it factor to be a main event player, same could be said for matt hardy and even edge to an extent, honestly jeff was the only one to really have the charisma...too bad the shmuck can stay clen long enought to really get some momentum behind his

  • It's a shame. TNA to me had potential in late 2006-early 2007. I bought the PPV where Joe face Angle at Genesis 2006, and was a great match, but ever since then it screwed up time after time. I think bringing in Kurt Angle was fine, but then they botched everything in 2007 by bringing in Pacman Jones [face_plain]. And now they brought in Hogan, Russo, etc. and there is pretty much no hope.

  • @WrestlingRoundtable I find it funny Santamaria that here we are a year later and TNA put the TNA Title on Jeff Hardy and they turned him heel. What the heck is that crap? Now, I am not a huge fan of Anderson but wouldn't it have made sense to have he or Angle turn heel? It's like having Flair being AJ Styles mentor/agent and AJ turning heel in January and it's pretty much the same finish too just with different guys. Jeff Hardy to me is like Steamboat in the sense no fan wants to boo him.

  • My view of TNA gets more negative every day and I am just shocked the TNA crap has lasted this long (Viacom and Big Daddy Carter have to pull the plug soon). I gave TNA a couple of chances over the years, but it has always been the same boring crap. TNA is a place to go for fired WWF drug addicts (Hardy, RVD, Angle, etc.) and washed up old timers (Flair, Nasty Boys, Hogan, etc.). TNA does less than 10,000 PPV buys per month, does TV ratings less than the worst Nitro and papers all its crowds.

  • All the arguments against TNA and about how much TNA sucks have been the same and valid since day 1 when TNA started. TNA was broke after 6 months and should have been shut down, but dick sucking Dixie ran in with her daddy's wallet and has literally wasted tens of millions of dollars keeeping the crap afloat today. TNA is an exact replica of WCW as a business, but is trying to promote a 1999 WWF Attitude replica product that does not sell. Watch TNA founder Jerry Jarrett shoot on it if you can

  • lol hall and nash commentating would be funny as hell

  • True about Booker T who I think is a great worker but what did he do? Was he ever the top guy (TNA Champion) or drew money for that company? Nash is at least good on the mic keep him around like Steve Austin was from 2003-2004 in WWE. I keep saying to people you already have the answer to your problems in your company... Great tag teams (or at least there was now it's only Beer money INC and Team 3-D) strong Knock-outs division and Joe and AJ. I don't get it.

  • TNA needs to seriously trim their dead weight, and its mostly the old guys. nash was stale 10 years ago, it wouldn't have hurt at all if booker t never came, steiner i wont even touch......

  • The state of TNA where to begin lol. Now Jim Cornette has left how cool would it be to get a sound bite from him?

  • In hindsight Joe was being used far better in '07 than he is right now. Sometimes you don't know what you've got 'til its gone.
