@despitethespikes If you use a roth Ira or other vehicle that has tax free withdrawals you do not have to gamble as to what tax rates are going to be in the future...Hope this helps

I agree completly. In fact I think the probability is very high. If you Google GRA "Guaranteed Retirement Account" You will see that legislation is already proposed that would increase revenue to the federal government.

why would it be wise to use post tax contribution when you know tax will double in the future? shouldn't it be the other way around?

Good vid. Only thing I would add - if it comes to it, there's no stopping govt from taxing Roth IRAs in future.
