Please people hear me out! I don't have nothing against 'Kelly Clarkson' of American Idol fame! SMH! LOL! But listen to "Puff Johnson's" original version of this song from the CD "Miracle" circa 1996. And tell me if there is any comparison between these two ladies! There is professional singing and then there is amateur! After to listen to both versions you tell me which one is an amateur! It's a no brainer! My ears tell me 'Ms. Johnson" is a professional artist while Clarkson is media product!
