Understood. Although I have to say, the commentary really did capture very well the way I felt many times when I lived in China. I shared your video with some friends that still live in Beijing and they said, "this guy obviously must be living here for a while, because that is how I often feel - WTF are they thinking???"

I'm glad to have your support. The fireworks continuously detonating on top of the building and people running around in the streets laughing was an infuriating combination. This event was just so colosally stupid. People here are quite embarrassed by it. When did you live in China by the way? I guess adding the music didn't really help. People can still read my lips huh?

This event is an embarrassment to the Chinese government as it points out the lack of public safety measures to prevent these avoidable disasters.

Not sure that people can read your lips, but seriously, I'm bummed the commentary is gone! I lived in China from 2001-2004, so I was there during another mass insanity moment, the SARS crisis. That was a hoot, especially the People's Daily article which said, "scientists have determined that SARS did not originate in China; it originated in a certain type of animal." Golly, glad to hear my crockery was safe.
