If you don't sound good, being loud is the last thing you need. Luckily the high-powered Hartke Kilo Bass Amplifier Head has more going for it than 1000-watts and 2 ohm load handling going for it. A we got to see firsthand at NAMM, the Kilo offers the discerning touring bassist enough tone-shaping options to make sure not a single watt goes to waste.
The Hartke Kilo offers bypass-able 10-band graphic equalization, blend-able Bass Attack distortion, compression, and pre-shape controls for an impressive variety of tonal colors. Also cool: the amp features true stereo operation with 500-watts per side — because what stadium audiences really want is ping-ponged bass delay.

@Prettyflyforabassman Bass Heads are meant to plug into bass cabinets. Or do you have a bass combo without volume control? (I highly doubt it.)

this might sound stupid but imma ask anyway:
is it possible to use a bass head on a bass amplifier? because my amp doesnt have volume control so yeah
sorry if its a dumb question

@knappymer Thats how the amp sounded. Im the one in the video playing bass.

@roberthemsley2 I hope it's just the camera. I've been too anxious for this amp for it to sound like crap. It'd be nice if there were more video reviews out there.

yikes! look at the way that graph is carved up. looks like you have to take out a lot of mids to get this setup to sound right.

Is that what to overdrive actually sounds like? or is it just the cameras recording?
