@glendowner OK,i used to own this Escort RS1600-with an 1792ccm bde engine(that where the 1800 came
in) on Lucas mec.injection-build as near to full "Works" spec as could be done all to FIA appendix K
AS IT WAS USED IN THE HISTORIC SERIES HERE IN DENMARK build up in 98-2000

@perbeer The mk1 RS1600 in motorsport trim HAD a 1800 engine... a 200cc overbore was allowed. The mk2 however, came as a 1800 standard, and with the 200cc overbore, this had a 2 litre engine. But all of the above were BDA engines.

not shit sherlock,, I only own a mk1 capri and have driven a mk2 rs2000. Yes live axle i know what its all about,
i'm on about 1.03 where the v8 overtakes the escort then the escort gets it back in the corner.

Maby the escy is an 1100 with an 1800??? Mine escy is an 69" 1300 with a cossy YB, I dont call it escort 1300 delux,i name it RS 2000 cosworth,

its not a v8 you pillock, its a 4 cylinder dohc. and if you had ever driven a mk1 or mk2 you'd know that they actually corner very well .
