im confused. im purchasing a macbook pro soon and i don't understand if we can install office programme like microsoft word, excel, etc. in the macbook. can we or can we not?

yes, thats all good. but, do you need it on a mac or can you just use pages and keynote? im debating whether i need the application or not.
