Great video, dude! You have some serious skills with 3DS Max! Send it to Valve, maybe you'll get a job!
P.S.: If you actually succeed on obtaining a job at Valve, I want you to send me an e-mail every month to tell me what the heck they're doing with Half-Life 2: Episode Three. :v

@Milez4299 Isn't that what they're trying to do with the Large Hadron Collider? Apparently it's meant to recreate the conditions moments after the big bang. So yer, it could create something of such mass that a black hole is created as all matter in the universe is created at once =P I'm hoping they make a Portal Gun out of it though =D

great vid, only one flaw...portals can only be placed on flat surfaces, so putting it on the curved part of the hill/mountain wouldn't work...still great vid

@EpivGeo42 Not our fault, someone put a portal in our way.
I can truly say this is the best animation ever… of all time.

What did you use to make this video

@chelfc7 I made it entirely in Cinema 4D. The only 3D program I know how to use! I think its quite simple and intuitive, for a 3D modelling program.

@40Hazza42 Wow! I have to check that out because the 3D software i've seen is terribly hard and unintuitive

@chelfc7 Great! I will say its certainly not a 'beginners' 3D program, but it is one of those programs where it looks daunting at first, like when you open Photoshop for the first time, but quickly becomes familiar. You can make fantastic stuff without knowing how to use 80% of the program. Me, for instance, I'm awful at modelling... I focus on the animation side of things, which is only a tiny part of what you can do on C4D.
