Flamingo Queen - Electric Zoo Contest Entry

You know me, I loove birds! So I decided to create a flamingo inspired look for Michelle Phan's Electric Zoo Halloween contest. Hope you enjoy! :) I had fun being a pink crazy woman bird thing.

How to Create This Look == (Just for the curious!) :)

First I used moisturizer then glued down my brows and covered them with foundation.

I did put on foundation and concealer on my face and did some basic contouring but I don't think it's included in the video. I used eyelid primer on the eyes and in the general area that I knew I would be putting pigments. I first used orange and pink eye shadows from the Coastal Scents 88 Palette on my eyelids then took a white eyeliner and drew the extended shape. I filled this in with pinks a bit of red and some oranges and purples. I easily blended it away to make the white eyeliner disappear.

Then I took Kryolan black Aqua color and an angled brush to draw on the black stripes and as eyeliner. I also used black eyeliner pencil to tightline. Don't forget mascara! I used pink cosmetic glitter on parts and silverish white glitter in the tear ducts. I used white Kryolan aqua color for the white stripe and black liquid liner for the mini point stripe on the white.

For the lips, I first lined with black eyeliner then filled in with a light pink lipstick, did the borders of that with magenta lipstick then a rogue purple-ish lipstick on the very borders and relined again. I added some sticky gloss as adhesive then pat on some orange and purple glitter to the lips.

Then I put in my pink and black dramatic lashes ... $3 from a Halloween store! I got the black feathers from a craft store and glued them on with eyelash glue. That glue is strong o_o

Oh and don't forget to use flamingo pink blush on the cheekbones :)
