See the new HD video version under my profile. Baby Robins, from eggs to first flight. Using a Canon S3, in Macro mode, lots of nice close ups in excellent detail over 14 days.

  • i found about 3 bird nexts inn my like, bushy type palm tree thing,

    and erm,

theyre was eggs in one, greeny colour..

    next day,they was gone.

i think a magpie got them as after a few days i found an egg with a small crack in it , by my patio

    so yeah,

nice to see your happy ending!

  • Thanks for sharing, sorry to hear your ending. We had cats get our little ones last year. They have been nesting here for 8 years... two years we had unhapping endings.. but most are happy... cross our fingers... thanks for sharing.. good luck with the next brood.

  • I had tears in my eyes...so beautiful..

  • Hi there, stay tuned a new HD version is under way, the 4th egg was laid two days ago.. the hatching should start in 10 days.. then 2 weeks of growing up... It looks awesom in HD.. crossing our feathers for a full nest... thanks for sharing.. cheers..

  • what happened to the fourth egg? didn't it hatch?

  • Sorry for the late reply.. they had two batches of eggs.. the mother will remove the unhatched eggs from the nest.. or the weakest of the 4 hatchlings usually gets the boot... survival of the strongest...

  • wait a second one egg dirin't hatch

  • That is soo sweet. Once me and my brother found this baby Mockingbird. We put it in a cage with the top opened really wide so no cat can get it.Next thing we know the Mockingbird was gone because the mother came back. One day we found the same baby bird on our deck. :' )

  • What happened to the third one?

  • pause at 1:33. its having a exorcism! lol.

  • About 5 weeks ago,I suddenly noticed a nest in as azalea bush 3 feet from my front door.A week later,3-4 eggs were there in the nest.1 week later, they were little babies that could barely hold their necks up to be fed. They got stronger and larger day by day.Today, about 17-18 days after hatching, they left the nest.

Will the nest be used again? Will the chicks "keep in touch" with the parents?

  • @Blueraven2 got our first one this year, i check them every day, anxious to see what happens:)

  • I have same thing going on right now in my backyard. 3 baby robins. Mom and Dad very protective and "ALWAYS feeding them from dawn to dusk. I help and dig worms for them to. I taught momma robin to look in a particular place where i put them and she does. Also a neat fact is the momma takes the baby birds poop away from the nest. It is solid not liquid and drops it 20 feet away from the nest.

  • Epic without any digressions!

  • @acdcphsico

There was only 2 all the wayaling
