Sunspot 1302 launched two X-class flares on September 22 and September 24, bringing several days of auroras visible from northern Minnesota. These photos and video were shot in and around the Grand Rapids, MN area. Canon 5d Mk II and combination of f1.4 24mm prime lens and f2.8 16-35mm zoom lens. Sun was shot using neutral density 1000x filter and 70-200mm lens with 2x extender (400mm).
