  • I'm sorry, but as an owner of this type of car, you've got some serious legality issues. First and most importantly, HID lighting is NOT appropriate for a reflective housing. There are aftermarket headlamps for 00 and 01 Maximas avalable online. I used those for my car with H1 Xenons. Also, your brake lights appear to be Amber. They MUST be red by law. If that's just the camera, I appoligize. Lastly, your license plate lighting cannot be blue. Blue is reserved for emergency vehicles only.

First off, this been posted 3 years ago, Many things have changed, The taillights are not amber.... They are red OEM Se Tailights. The Plate lights are White. The colors look funny because of a crappy camera, I now have True HID Lenses with a nice sharp cutoff.

  • I like it. Are the fogs really just regular OEM? Mine seem to have a more whitish color compared to yours which look sort of yellowish.

  • There power OEM thats why they look so yellow i guess, Iam in the process of getting H3 hids

  • @sodacubes Oh lol I didn't see that. Sorry for being so critical, but that sort of thing annoys me. You may want to conciter getting a lower kelvin pair of license plate lighting because those look dangerously close to blue. Sure you will probably win in court if you challange a ticket for it, but is it really worth the trouble? But all in all Maximas are great cars and I'm glad to see other people improving theirs.
