My first LED saber built from a kit supplied by JQ Sabers www.jqsabers.com Contains crystal focus, and i lurve it.

Rich... wow, great camera!!! You can *REALLY* see the actual flicker details... which are normally lost on most cameras, due to the "subtle" effect they give out, overall.
Great video effects/organization too! SWEET. :)
You should really make this a "response video" to my "Saber response challenge" video for CF...

VERY nice built, killing JQ saber, and very smart use of the led sequencer, very original and non linear (I love assymetry in saber designs).
I also love the style of your video, very clean, straight forward and it looks very professionnal. Congrats !

Hi and thanks for your comment.
Yeah JQ Sabers still offer this piece as well as their new Pro-Qui sabers which include additional LED matrix and crystal chamber options.

Prices do vary depending on configuration, especially sound boards.
Best bet is to contact them directly and see what sort of thing you are after - hey, say I sent you ;-)

I've not measured how much 'playtime' I'm getting, but I have to say it's pretty good.
I've had the saber since Feb, and play with it for about half an hour most nights (yeah - really) and I've probably had to charge it up about four times since then.
I spent a bit more and got a fast charger and it will do a full recharge in about half an hour.

Thanks guys for the very kind comments, been paying with video editing software and this was the ideal project to use it on. Keep up the good work with Crystal Focus and the awesome sound fonts!
