We finally broke in our new Piteba Oil Expeller by making Hemp Seed oil. It was quite fun, and took less than 90 minutes to accomplish, (considering this was our very first time using this). I'm sure we will improve our technique and process once we start making more different oils during the winter months. Hope you enjoy our short instructional video.

  • I have been having roblems with this product. How do you stop the press cake from stoping up the cap.The manual says the nuts/seeds might be too dry buy I have tried walnuts, almonds, flax, sesame, ect. and I don't thik all of them are too dry.Could just

mix a little water with a ground up nut/seed and work, thanks.

  • The flame has to be touching the metal to keep the press cake from clogging up. And don't stop cranking after you start. Try crushing your seeds first instead of adding them in whole. Never tried mixing water, but it might end up adding water to your oil. Thanks for watching.

  • What banjo song is that?

  • A standard loop that came with iMovie HD.

  • is that an avacado your growing?

  • Yes it is... good eye.

  • Come to Nebraska around the Omaha area in late september or early october. Get outside the city limits on the country/gravel roads. You will find wild hemp growing everywhere in the ditches, thats why we call it ditchweed here. You can harvest all the hempseeds you care to. Do it discreetly because it is illegal to do so.

It is a ridiculous law, because you are not doing it for drugs, why should all that valuable resource go to waste? I ignore stupid laws hehehehehe

  • Step 2.

Move to canada and buy fresh raw hemp seed right from the fam. Those hulled seeds are missing oil and minerals that where held in place by the edible hull. check my channel for some hemp info.
