Check out my handmade soaps at:
http://www.PureSimplicitySoap.etsy.com

This is simple, fast, easy and costs literally close to nothing.

1 CUP Distilled or Filtered Water
1/4 CUP Rubbing Alcohol or Witch Hazel
1 T Conditioning Shampoo
Optional: 1/2 T Leave in Conditioning Spray
Optional: One drop of Pink or Purple Colorant (Does not discolor bristles)

Mix well and pour into container of your choice.

I have used this for months now and it works great. My brushes are always soft and clean.

Please try to clean your brushes regularly. Not cleaning them will result in bacterial buildup which can result in eye infections and nasty breakouts!! We don't want that!!

Enjoy.

XOXO,
Hilary

  • do i have to wash my brushes after this?

  • @TheVanitydoll Nope this cleans them up very well. I would just deep clean them once or twice a month.

  • THANKYOU SOO MUCH!

  • @thehairification You're very welcome :)

  • you could wash them with baby wash if you have more time it gets all the product out and makes the brush soft

  • @MzCarmenBonita Yes that works great, I like to do that to deep clean them every so often :)
