Blur's Magnum Opus: my favourite instrumental ever!!! It is how Erik Satie would have done it, if he had of been in a rock band. Coxon's magnificent unwieldy guitar riffs, Alex's uncompromising bass lines, Albarns ethereal vocal lamentations, Grahams relentless percussionistic assault.
Musically it acheives high Gothic grandeur, that few tracks if any!! can acheive.
I don't know how people preferred Oasis to Blur, totally stumps me, it really does.
