Mrs Mae Woodward (Katherine Cannon) is a teacher who cares for a couple of children who have lost their parents. Emma lived with them for a while and felt in love with Mr. John Michael Murphy (Merlin Olson). He also cares for the children. To make the whole thing official, Mr. Murphy plays priest Father Murphy. Emma told this to the officials in hope he would have to gone and takes her with him. Mrs Woodward doesn´t like her behaviour and demonstrates Emma lovefull what you can see in the video.

I cannot believe I have been ‘permanently barred’ from a local supermarket- just for giving a female staff member a playful spank on her rump.

You are SO right! The spankee is a young actress named Donna Wilkes who had a very active career in both movies & TV. Though playing a naughty & willfull teenager in this episode she was in real life at the time a grown woman in her early 20's! She certainly made for a believable youngster; no doubt due in a large part to her petite size.
