第24屆香港電影金像獎 最佳女配角 / 24th HKFA Best Supporting Actress

Bai Ling wins Best Supporting Actress at the 2005 Hong Kong Film Awards for her role in "Dumplings." One of her finer moments.

"First, I'm very grateful to the academy for giving me the opportunity to come to Hong Kong. A good evening to all the actors and friends seated below, whom I admire, with whom I am familiar and unfamiliar. I'm very grateful for living, for life, because it gave me the opportunity to work, to share, to love, to imagine. And film is a dream of my imagination. Dumplings, those very dumplings with their 400 years of history, I never thought would have bestow upon me so many gifts, and I'm really very thankful. I'd like to thank Peter Chan most of all for the opportunity, his one phone call for me to play such a strange character. I'd also like to thank - and I'm quite nervous - Friut Chan, for giving me the freedom to create, as well as Christopher Doyle. I'd like to thank my parents, whom I hope can watch such a glorious ceremony on television in the mainland. As well as my grandmother - I think she must be sitting on the moon with some melon seeds, smiling down at me. "

白靈 also won 第41届台湾金马奖最佳女配角 for the same role in《三更之饺子》at the 41st Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan (2004).

In 2005, she once again won 香港电影金紫荆奖-最佳女配角（Golden Bauhina Awards - Best Supporting Actress Award）for the same role.
