school.
one simple, disgusting word.
the word that any body under 18 despises.
and after that- the word feared even more- COLLEGE.
today i officially started school.
i walked- well ROLLED. through the doors with Nick at my side. It seemed like every single person- students and teachers alike- were looking at us.
Out of the corner of my eye i saw nick waving excitedly at someone, probably this so called friend he found, but i was barely paying attention to him.
i was too busy looking at everyone else in the halls.
i could easily pick out the clique.
there was a small group of girls giggling and all trying to get a good look at me- crazy obssesed, dorky, jonas brothers fans.
there was a group of people holding twice as many books as everyone else. they were fashionally chalanged and the majority of them wore glasses.-nerds.
there were a bunch of small groups of average people.-neither populor nor dork.
and then there was the group of people that seemed to take up the entire width of the hallway. the hot chicks and "attractive" guys. their clothes perfect, laughing and smiling as if without a care in the world.
and i cant forget the druggies. dressed in almost all black. blood shot eyes with dark circles under them. they looked very deshelved and seemed to be looking over their shoudlers alot.
i knew that was the group i would have to stay away from.
i turned my attention back to nick. he had started to walk over towards the group of nerds with a smile on his face. there was one nerd in praticular beaming back at him. i barley glanced at her before i starts to move my wheel chair forward.
i went to my locker and got all my books.the bell rang and i waited for most of the people to rush to class before turning to go to my own class.
the only people left was the kids on drugs, leaning against a group of lockers, and the populars taking up the whole middle of the hallway.
most of the popular people walked off to their classes leaving 5 guys. the fucked up druggies didnt go to their classes at all.
i slowly started to move down the hall and was soon stopped by- guess who! the drug atics! one of the girls stepped forward.
girl:i heard your in that chair because of drugs.{she smirked} niice.
joe:i wouldnt really call it nice. i CANT walk. {now one of the guys spoke}
guy:so. its still worth it right?
joe:um. no not really. {he glared at me. one of the other girls spoke now}
girl2:look when you come to your senses and want to actually do drugs again come talk to us.{she started to walk away and all the other followed, but not without one of them slipping a bag of weed onto my lap. my eyes widened as i looked at it. i thought i was finally done with all this shit! i sighed and continued to roll down the hall. as i approached the group of guys in the middle of the hallway i slowed a little.}
guy:what the fuck do you think your doing here?
joe:excuse me?
guy:you and your gay brother! with your stupid pop disney band!
joe:we werent pop. were done with that. and i think im more bad ass then you could wish to be.{he glared at me and then seemed to ease up a little.}
guy:im Ryan.
joe:joe.
ryan:i know. my girlfriends in love with you even though i tell her you suck.
joe:really?because from my point of view id say you are the one that sucks. {he laughed a little.}
ryan:anyway. what the fuck were you doing talking to those drug maniacs?{i looked at him for a second. he was definietely a jock. and his muscles looked way too big.}
joe:i wouldnt be talking from the looks of it.{he raised an eyebrow. i ignored it and proceded to tell him how i was paralyzed because of drugs.}
ryan:dude. THATS FUCKING AWESOME!{he high fived me.}
joe:i guess you could say it that way. plus. there is this smokin chick at my physical therapy center. total slut too.
ryan:really?{he snickered and all of his friends smiled.}
joe:ya. and shes always all over me. i have to go again today and my brother kevin is suposed to take me but he hates me so i think hed be more then happy to not go- maybe if i had a friend to drive me...
ryan:so your saying i could come with and see this sexy bitch?
joe:of course.
ryan:youve got yourself a deal.{we fist pounded.}
so i found i had a bunch of classes with ryan and the rest of the guys with him. i met a bunch of sluts along with them. all in all it was a good day! they all seemed awed by how i was in a wheel chair i even dared to tell them about going to the stupid therapist. they thought it was FUNNY!
i guess school isnt so bad!
and after me and my homie g ryan went to physical therapy. every time alexis would bend over me i would look passed her and see ryan giving me thumbs up which made me laugh. he tried to hit on her but once again she seemd unintrested.
mr therapist asked about my first day back at school i told him it was aight he just glared at me.
