Hey guys,
This is another tutorial for beginners. Pretty easy, shouldn't take long for you to get it down and create some "magic" :) Let's get started:
Step 1: Make a new blank layer.
Step2: Select the gradient tool and click on the picker to open the gradient editor. Click on the right-pointing arrow and choose Special Effects. Click Append and choose "Russel's Rainbow".
Step 3: Make sure you click on the radial gradient.
Step 4: Drag out a rainbow with the gradient tool starting from the RIGHT to the LEFT.
Step 5: Change the blend mode to "Screen".
Step 6 Apply a Gaussian Blur filter with value around 50 pixels.
Step 7: Add a layer mask.
Step 8: Choose the black to white gradient and change to the Linear gradient from the options bar.
Step 9: Drag the gradient on the layer mask from the BASE to the TOP.
Step 10: Duplicate the layer and drop the opacity to approximately 70%.
Step 11: Group the layers.
Step 12: Add a new blank layer.
Step 13: Select the gradient tool again and choose "Russel's Rainbow" but change the values and flip the order of the colors like shown in the video.
Step 14: Drag out another rainbow like you did before
Step 15: Repeat steps 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Step 16: Move the second rainbow as shown in the video and lower the opacity accordingly.
That's it. Thanks for watching and please subscribe, rate and favorite.
