Artist: The Gathering (NL)
Track: In Motion #2
Album: Mandylion (1995)

Please buy the album, it's worth the money.
One of the best Gothic Metal Albums ever.
And not comparable to the sh*t that The Gathering produces since 2000...

In Motion #2

I see him turn away
Although my eyes are shut with emptiness
And again the rain falls down
Together with me

This blood in my body runs for you
Drink my tears as I cry

My heart and my mind crave for you
Drink my tears as I cry

It is sad how the rain falls down

Make me cry in vain
Leave one tear
Touch my face with your sigh
Leave me against the stream
One hundred worlds will see me
Passing by...

I see you walk away
Falling down I cry and scream your name
And again the rain falls down
Together with me

My ache is yours as I am
Drink my tears as I cry

  • @DoomRequiem Dream Theater, Haken, Symphony X........all examples of what most consider progresive metal bands. The Gathering is hardly along those lines. That's no a knock on them, or you...just a different rock style. They lean in with neo-progressive rock bands like Pendragon, Mostly Autumn, Magenta, Karnataka, Rennisance. You are correct that this album is amongst the best. It's beautiful!! I love them all! It's all just great music to me! Prog On!
