How do you get these skins? Do you download them from somewhere or is this VERY good video editing?

It's very complicated and involves using photoshop to edit the costumes already within the game. You can extract say Sonic's regular costume and change his blue to be darker, black eyes etc. All it is is replacing whatever color costume you want to whatever your (or someone elses) texture is. You need a hacked wii to do it. Look up how to hack a wii on google. You'll find a tut somewhere.
