how do you create the black water ? do you add peat to the filter or do the leaves do this ?

If yours are 2 months than comparing mine and yours to the tetras I would say mine are3 months

You can easily use wood from the forest or something like that! :)

But if you want the water to be colored by the wood, you need driftwood or bogwood.

Or these leaves (oak laves). Pretty simple :)))
