I had to update to newest video drivers just to get the game to start. Then once I got in the game... I had to deal with LOOKING AT IT.
Computer stats: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
12GB DDR3 RAM Radeon HD 4870 (not great, but it manages to run CRYSIS at 60fps)
@PlaceBotox Bethesda just published it, id is the developer and the company to blame. Also, it's an easy fix, all you have to do is make a config file with like 6 lines of text, you can find it with one google search. Also, why the hell did you pay 80 bucks? It's only 60 brand new (or are you Australian?)

Really gutted to see this...I too use a Radeon HD 4870 and I preordered it thinking my graphics card would be able to cope after playing Crysis 2 on high settings. Is it just the texture pop-in that's the problem or is the framerate too?

Thank fuck I didn't pre order this game. All I've heard is negative about it on PC...
Truly sad it had promise, so much for their innovation they can barly make a game that works!
