Warning: MASSIVE spoilers for The 3rd Birthday. If you have not seen the final scenes in the game, this will spoil EVERYTHING for you, as this entire video uses said scenes. Watch at your own risk.
My vid for round 1 of Yunarella's Deus ex Machina contest. We were divided into groups and given a color to use. I had red. And after a LOT of struggling with concepts, I finally settled on one I liked.
Summary (spoiler-free):
No matter how much blue, black, or white she wore, Aya never seemed able to escape the color red. Especially since it was the color of blood. Even on her wedding day, garbed in a beautiful white dress, red invaded her life again, staining everyone present with red blood. And in the end, she was engulfed by that color.
For: Deus ex Machina contest (round 1), hosted by Yunarella
Prompt: The color red
Extra notes:
-I uploaded this and removed the other version since I realized, after looking at my vid a while, that while I personally loved my black-and-white-except-red look, there might not be enough red to the overall video for it really fit into the color's category. But I didn't want to use a color setting that detracted from the reds that were already emphasized, which it turns out is difficult to do when editing a finished vid....But anyway, I used one I have and like, and while I still really like my other version's colors, this one fits the theme more. So this is my official round 1 vid; the other, idk. I may take it down, I may not. What do you guys think? Keep the original or remove it?
-It occurred to me while making this, that Aya's very presence in the final scenes is a deus ex machina. Go, Aya!! :D
-I'd like to finish this in the future, actually. But I'm happy with what I have, and the deadline's coming up. So instead of spending the days up to the deadline going, "What am I supposed to add NOW?!", I'll put out what I have and am happy with. :)

@FantasyGarnet
Thank you. She really is stunning, isn't she? Her name's Aya Brea, the protagonist of the Parasite Eve series. The 3rd Birthday is the most recent release, and the graphics at long last do the justice Advent Children did for Tifa. ♥

Thank you. I love the song and the video I produced from it, and really enjoyed using this song, especially since it's by one of my favorite music groups of all time. ♥
