This is my favorite, I loved the DC5 most of my life, Dave was an amazing song writer, and Mike Smith one of the best rock singers ever, RIP Mike your music will live forever.

  • If you look at the credits on the lps he wrote 90% of the songs, he even worked for disney for a time writing music, you are so wrong about his writiing.

  • Ron Ryan was the true song writer of many early hits. DC could only write cheques, mostly to himself.

  • Dave Clark never wrote a note or a lyric in his life. He just signed his name and took the credit and money.

  • @DeconPossessed You don't understand. They had a verbal contract. Ron's name was suppose to be on the songs he wrote. He was suppose to get royalties. Neither happened. Ron finally got money from Dave after threatening to sue but his name only appears on the song "Sometimes". It really ticks me off when someone takes credit for something they didn't do.

  • @bjbell52 Hey look! If bloody Ron F__kin Ryan wrote songs for The DC5 and Dave's name appeared on the record lables as author, then that was the result of a business arrangement... and bloody Ron Fkn Ryan made his share of the money from writng royalties and record sales. So do me a favor, and don't try to paint Dave Clark as some villian for EARNING his share of the money. Dave Clark's name was what was selling, not bloody St. Ron Fkn Ryan who AGREED to write for the band under those terms!!

  • Looks like Mike and Denis found their way to Heaven. RIP, boys. Love all the DC 5 members.

  • I love Youtube - for DC5 more than any other reason. So many songs I didn't know existed, even though I was a big fan in the '60s.

    Love finding 'em all.
