I had some free time over spring break so I gave in and bought a Mac to try out the iPhone app development. Here's what I came up with after my first night of development. Ported over a 3d Rubik's Cube that I wrote a few years back for school.
Finding a Mac was no easy task. There are no apple stores in the Scranton, PA area (where I was home for break) so I had to drive to the Lehigh Valley Mall near Allentown to get one. (~ hour drive)
This is my first time developing for a Mac System, and overall it was pretty a good experience. They have a lot of nice tools for developers and the fact that OSX has a unix backend is very nice. Objective-C is a little strange at first, but good to know. I thought the interface builder tools were a little weak compared to the C# equivalent. But overall.. pretty slick.
Can you give some hits as to where to find info on how to do this. I'm developing a beginners guide to solving the cube and would like to have a graphical display for the moves.

Peter, when can I use the touch screen to solve the Rubik's Cube myself?
