Pratap Simha's speech in Hubballi

Pratap Simha, a rightist, young and upcoming writer in Kannada who is better known for his weekly column in Vijaya Karnataka speaks on Avarana, Bhyrappa's latest and probably most controversial novel. The speech is actually targeted at U.R.Ananthamurthy, another big name in Kannada literature who provoked the issue recently. Thanks to ssmanju for the video.

pratap simha is nothing but a proponent of hindu fascism. his ideas are shared by many young hindus who think that's the way ahead. these guys dont realise that such ideas when harboured for a long time will make us no better than an extrimist islamic country. pratap has good literary skills. i wish he would use those to make the masses more matured by critical reasoning rather than manipulating them into succumbing to this fundamentalism disguised as nationalism.
