For those of you newbies out there wanting to do this:

1: Do not i repeat DO NOT use a feather duster. Use Compressed air in a can.

2: Be careful not to touch black Capacitors "May Shock you or the motherboard"

3: Do not leave a game in the disk drive while doing this....

I have a 360 you can clean.it worked fine up till last week when we had a fire.I was hunting when I came home for lunch i was greeted with a fire.Long behold my system was on.house was so smokey it took my breath soon as i opened the door.but i got everyone out safely and fire out.I could only see the lights on my system so i turned it off and took it.took 2 hrs for smoke to leave when i turned on my xbox it read open tray with all 68 games i have.I was very bummed out.

there may be dust inside your xbox360

clean the dust out to prevent your xbox360 from overheating and messing up on you.

So to everyone that is about to rip their xbox apart be warned.... the duster is your enemy. It can build static electricity that can then discharge on a vital component on the computer hardware causing it to fail.... I would highly recommend not to open the case of your xbox but simply spray it out with an air compressor they build the micro chips and processor to withstand vibration and thats all air flow is, so keep your warranty and your xbox clean
