This show is full of dumb assess. Watched the first minutes of it and was utterly disgusted. Napoleon wanted to conquer the world, really now why don't these guys learn some history before they start comparing generals. Napoleon wanted to protect the french republic from all the monarchies wishing to destroy Napoleon's republic. Also, George Washington would be Napoleon, hah, George Washington would have been slaughtered by Napoleon's army. The old guard vs militia who were know to flee.

George Washington would have been a small footnote in world history if the country was any other than the USA. He did nothing impressive and lost far too often to be even regarded as a top-notch commander. Napoleon had arguably the single best military record of any commander in the modern era.

@smikasmikasmudo In a battle, Napoleon would DEFINITELY win, unless his army was starving, tired, and low on ammo as it was retreating from Moscow. If the war was short, his superior training, tactics, and logistics would crush Washington. But, if it dragged on, he'd probably lose. Remember, he had been fighting NON-STOP in Europe for years, so by the time he invaded Russia, France was exhausted and he had to conscript men from all over Europe to make his Grand Army.

don't be to harsh on George. He had to build an army out of farmers, woodsmen, merchants, and dock workers. He turned an ill disciplined rabble in the beginning of the war into a decent army by the end. Doing that in eight years is no small feat. Napoleon already had professional soldiers and experienced officers under command. Washington didn't. Although, I still agree, Napoleon would beat Washington. But always keep in mind of the different situations each figure faced.

And also they are saying how napoleons tactics were unbeatable... Hmmm, ever heard of the napoleonic wars matey?

George washington did not defeat the british empire. Politics did.

@SHADOWFREAK55 if he had, he would have been slaughtered. The only reason the colonists managed to do ANYTHING to the british was due to their non-conventional tactics.

lol Napoleon's army conquered all of Europe and Washington could barely get a victory over the British. Napoleon hands down.

@EnabaleChannel I think you're right. Lee, like many American generals, studied Napoleonic tactics at West Point. Other than the fact that Lee's forces were equipped with actual rifles and not muskets, it would be very close.

this show is a joke, I am a american but, i know napoleon would have destroyed Washington. Napoleon was mastermind and a general. Washington is a leader. also u havet to add solider willingness. for his men to march in russia(no argument). Now lets say. Robert e lee vs napoleon would have been closer. Because as his men said "i would charge hell for that old man". thats dedication. and the volley was like 200men in a line not 5 men much more effective. cancel this show.
