@shinfield13 I think I covered that .... that hollywood sucks. All I can tell you is you read the books and tell me if you won't feel cheated. Or wait 30 plus years for a movie to be made and it is a pile of crap. Then again Harry Potter is epic for you.

@DrugMan24 .... continued , this could have been a great film, a study of human behavior , but instead it is average and direct to video. All I can say is read the stories and you will feel short changed as well.

@DrugMan24 Entertaining ? well if you liked it fine , But look at it from my perspective. I waited 35 years for someone to make this movie. to you it is just a swashbuckler movie , But if you ever read the books , you would see how they missed an opportunity to show and develop a truly original character , which has never been seen before. A true paradoxical character with strong belief system that runs against his own world view and a dogged relentless crusader. continued ....

This movie is crap , it is yet another example of a writer and director who feels they are better writers then the actual creator of the character. This is a typical hack job on another Howard character. Once again Hollywood gets it all wrong , and leaves what could be a very complex character stuffed in the pages of the original stories , so they can do yet another typical hero that has been done over and over again. Read the books and forget this forced Hollywood drivel.
