Kitzmiller vs Dover Knockdown Evidence (The IDiots L-IeD)

Euginie Scott explains the knock down evidence used in the case of Kitzmiiler vs. Dover whereupon the authors of the creationist apologetic textbook 'Pandas And People' were found to have deliberately switched tact directly in response to the Edwards v. Aguillard case which overturned the Louisiana 'creationism act' From the NCSE website:

In a landmark ruling in 1987 in Edwards v. Aguillard, the U.S. Supreme Court held that the state of Louisiana's "Creationism Act" was unconstitutional. This statute prohibited the teaching of evolution in public schools, except when it was accompanied by instruction in "creation science". The Court found that, by advancing the religious belief that a supernatural being created humankind, which is embraced by the term "creation science," the act impermissibly endorsed a particular religious viewpoint. In addition, the Court found that the provision of a comprehensive science education is undermined when it is forbidden to teach evolution except when creation science is also taught. Some creationists responded to this decision by refashioning "creation science" to avoid any explicit references to the Bible, to God, or to the beliefs of a particular religious sect. This version of creationism re-emerged as part of the "intelligent design" movement in the 1990s.

This re-emergence was sneakily re-branded and resold to market a new 'version' of creationism that would deliberately distance itself from the liabilities of the old vanguard. God simply becomes an 'intelligent agent' and creation becomes Intelligent Design. The center piece of the new strategy, is nothing more than a re-hash of William Pally's Argument from design. Just another fallacious teleological argument, that was defeated in REAL science when Darwin came along and provided us with the mechanism to beat assumption of teleology.

Many lies and fabrications are necessary to uphold the illusion that the ID theory is a bold new discovery and it's proponents are main stream science. Like creation science though, its alleged intellectual product is cultivated, ad hoc, with confirmation bias to fabricate a preconceived agenda to reach a preconceived conclusion. Like creation science they also fail to publish serious academic articles for peer review in serious mainstream peer review journals. The main difference with the new liars for Jebus is that, instead of saying goddidit they now say designerdidit, and that's supposed to make it all different and we are not supposed to notice the cheap veneer of disguise these ID creationists are wearing.

Eugenie Scott is a personal hero to me. Brilliant, funny, the works. I just wish I actually made enough money to donate to NCSE. She single handedly has done more to make this a better nation than all the republicans on the Bush administration combined.

Yeah, the audio does suck a bit. I filtered this out of a much longer series of vids, as I only wanted this to point out the 'clinching' evidence of the case.
