  • Thank you very much for your comment. I have only been around Austers for the last 30 years, and I am always willing to learn. I would be interested to know of your experience.

    Film speed transfer might just have something to do with how fast the landing looks....again thanks for your comment

  • Far to fast for an Auster. Forget the wheel on landings in an Auster. Much safer approach is at 40kts with 2 position of flap. Round out and get that stick right back in your belly and leave it there. There is plenty of rudder power at slow sppeds.
